Biography/Personality:

Alessandra began skating as soon as she could walk.  At the age of eight she had excellent edging and a lyrical quality so uncommon to her age.  She was a strong single skater and still is but she preferred to share the ice with someone else.  She soon began skating with her brother Gualtier Mancini.  The two climbed the ranks in novice and junior for two years showing huge promise until Gualtier was killed.  For a year Alessandra did not skate or go near the ice.  Her parents held auditions and young men from all over Italy came but none came close to Dante Perucci.  Dante and Alessandra have been skating together for eight years now.
