Baylor was born in Dallas, Texas on a ranch.  His father was a professional bullrider and his mother a bred horses.  His love for horses began at an early age and he went to his first Thoroughbred race at 11 and he decided right then that was what he wanted to do.  Baylor really wanted to be a jockey but, was too big for the job.  At 22 he married, Hilary Elliot and they had their first child, Gable, when he was 23.  Two years later they had Piper.  It was Hilary's idea to get the kids into figure skating but, Baylor wanted them to get into horses.  Skating won out.  Tristan was born when Baylor was 33 and a year later Baylor and Hilary divorced.  At the time, Baylor was mixed up in many shady dealings and was still starting in the horse world.  Hilary won custody of the children (she also slept with the judge).  Baylor worked his way out of his shady dealings and is now an honest horseman.  He didn't really want to move to Colorad0 but, Gillian Banks kind of blackmailed him into it and he knew he could get back two of his children.  Baylor is a very patient man and loves his kids dearly and he is trying to get Tristan back.
