Biography/Personality:

Kait led a very sheltered and strict life before coming to KMAS. Her father was a police officer and was killed in 1983, right before her brother Bradley was born. Kait's mother blamed it on herself, thinking God was mad at her and hated her. So to atone for it she joined a fanatical church, eventually marrying Steven Emmet. Steven adopted the 3 Maertins children, and they took them out of school, preferring to homeschool them. Kait's mother then sheltered them from all the 'evils' in life, the life that took her beloved husband away. Therefore, aside from skating, Kait has had no freedom.

Now she's tasting independence for the first time, and she's living life to the fullest, even though she's upset her family have totally shunned her. She has a rebellious streak, as well and seems to enjoy seeing how much trouble she can get into at times. She doesn't like others telling her what to do.  She is very intuitive and speaks her mind, which sometimes can get her into trouble. She is also very distractible.

Kait was a singles skater before coming to KMAS, but never did well because she was too fixed on ice dance. She's recently pierced her navel. She was in a relationship with Stephano Demmelmaier, and she also had some sort of relationship with Petya Sevastianov. She married Trevor Harrison in order to be protected after stumbling upon one of his secret meetings, and is now in the process of divorcing him after less than a month of marriage.  She is now married to Stephano and they are expecting a baby girl, they have tentatively named Bianca in June of 2000.
