Nicolas has been hired by a Senator to do some consulting in Colorado.  Upon learning that Marcus’ son died, he visits the Demmelmaiers to offer condolences, and with his own hidden agenda which involves all in Kensington.

Competitive History: Nicolas was the 1994 Olympic Gold Medalist in pairs with Veronique Lanier.  He and his partner won only one world title which was the year of the Olympics.

Nicolas grew up in Nice, France with his parents and his brother, Luc, who is also a pairs skater.  He was paired with Ronie at age 15 and climbed to the top of the pairs field by the age of 24 when they won their Olympic and World titles.  Afterwards, they toured for a while, but after two years, Ronie met and married the love of her life and quit skating to raise a family.  Never believing that his fate lay in figure skating, Nicolas attended Harvard business school where he earned top honors and developed a ruthless instinct for business.  He has been working for a consulting firm in Boston until recently when he took on an independent job for a Senator.

Nicolas is a terrible flirt and shameless when it comes to women.  He does not believe in love nor does he feel the necessity to become attached to anyone.
