Wants the best training facility money can buy for her daughters.

Vanessa is a former Miss. America contestant, and mother to Mackenzie, and Amber Taylor.  Growing up in a middle class family in New Zealand, Vanessa dreamed of becoming a star.  When she was 16, she came to America in the hope of being discovered.  And she was, by Jack Taylor, an aspiring movie director.  Vanessa found out she wasn't suited for movies, and quickly began a modeling career.  A few years later, she was second runner up at the Miss. America Pageant.  Shortly after, she married Jack Taylor, and their daughter Mackenzie was born in 1980.  Nor Vanessa, or Jack had very much time for their children, and the rare moments Mackenzie and Vanessa spent
together were usually at the rink, and involved criticizing Mackenzie's
skating.  The relationship between mother and daughter had been very
strained.  In 1990, Vanessa gave birth to her second child, Amber.  Seeing the success her other daughter was achieving in skating, Amber also found herself lacing up figure skates.  Vanessa favors Amber, because, unlike Mackenzie, she aims to please her mother.
