Bridget moved with her family to Kensington, so that her brother and sisters could get the best coaching available.

All Bridget has ever wanted to be is a normal teenager.  She despises her mother for moving her so frequently during her childhood, and for sheltering her so much.  Bridget secretly hates figure skating and all related to it, quitting skating at the age of 8.  She feels like the outsider of the family because she isn't a skater.

Because she refuses to be a skater, Miranda would like Bridget to become a doctor or a lawyer.  Miranda rarely allows her to do anything that isn't involved with either her schooling or the skating careers of her siblings.
