Ilia is cocky, arrogant and a flirt.  He has hordes of adoring female fans in Europe, who refer to him as Porny IP, a term coined by a figure skating internet message board by two drunk Brits.  In his spare time, Ilia enjoys visiting with fans, golf, tennis and girls.

Ilia and his partner, Margarita, are roommates but their relationship is purely platonic.  They are great friends, although they drive each other crazy.  Ilia and Rita are known as devious competitors, and are infamous now for being involved in Becky Sorenson's injury in Russia, even though it was an accident.  They are overly dramatic skaters and are wildly popular in Europe, mostly because of their honest attitude, Ilia's flirty and sexy personality and Rita's sultry and serious demeanor.

One of their more infamous fans is a message board poster who calls herself "RITA IS THE LIVING LEGEND."  RITLL's most famous story is about how she was in America once, wearing a Rita t-shirt and Becky blew smoke in her face.  She calls them "Angel Rita" and "Saint Ilia", and is a rather obsessed fan, but very humorous.  She sends her friends love in Christ and kisses from Rita's angel lips.  RITLL is also famous for praying "that Bryce fail the QUOD" and that all North American skaters are "FORTH!  FORTH!  FORTH!"  Crazy as she may seem, RITLL is a dedicated fan and defends Ilia & Rita to the very end.  She keeps a website for them that she updates daily.
