Coaching History:  Marie has choreographed for countless Olympic and world champions, but is just now beginning to coach the best skaters in the world.

Competitive History: Marie was the 1972 Olympic champion.  Besides that, she was the 1969-1972 World Champion, the 1968 World silver medallist, and the 1968 Olympic silver medallist.  Marie was the 1967-72 European champion, and the 1964-72 Austrian National champion as well.

Biography/Personality:

In her younger days, Marie was romantically involved with  Marcus Demmelmaier.  Marie was married to World champion ice dancer Jacques Lavie for fifteen years, and they had a son, Jean Lavie.  She toured with various companies around the world for several years before becoming a choreographer.  Marie left Jacques after fifteen years of marriage, to move to Paris to work in a choreographer position.  She met Andre Jardin there, and the two have been close ever since.  Marie is a powerful woman, with a great amount of power in the ISU.  She is known as a bitch, but is incredibly loyal to all of her students.  Marie graduated from the University of Graz in Austria in 1975 with a degree in business.
