Biography/Personality:
Konstantin's father deserted the family when he was only six months old, and it has been just him and his mother ever since. They share an apartment in St. Petersburg with another family, but have their own bedroom. Zoya, Konstantin's mother, has worked diligently as a teacher for many years to support them. Her dream is to see her only child be the world champion. Konstantin began skating at the age of four because his cousin was a skater, and he wanted to try it. Now, twelve years later, he is the reigning world junior champion and has the most potential of any young skater out there. Konstantin wishes for nothing more than to bring his mother to America where she can retire comfortably and he can train with the best in the world.
Other Noteworthy News/Facts:
